PHILLIP ISLAND NATURE PARKS

Phillip Island Nature Parks provide unique wildlife encounters – from interacting face-to-face with a koala on the treetop boardwalk at the Koala Conservation Centre, to the magic of the sunset waddle of the Little Penguins at the Penguin Parade.

The Penguin Parade is a sure highlight of any Nature Parks experience. The tiered stands of the Penguin Parade complex give everyone a great view of the penguins arriving home as the sun sets. Boardwalks built over the sand dunes give visitors a close view of the penguins returning to their burrows.

Step back in time to beautiful Churchill Island where history and tranquility greet you. Wander through the historic homestead and cottage gardens or just take in the spectacular views of Western Port at the Visitor Interpretation Centre and Licensed Café.

Other destinations managed by the Park include Rhyll Inlet, Cape Woolamai and the Nobbies, where visitors can experience wildlife in its natural environment.

Phillip Island Nature Parks' conservation and rehabilitation program helps support the protection of the region's unique natural environment and diverse array of wildlife. One of the ways the general public can support this great cause is by purchasing an 'Adopt-A-Penguin' pack (penguinfoundation.org.au/donation), which includes:

  • Penguin Foundation membership
  • Penguin Foundation adoption certificate
  • Complimentary Penguin Parade ticket
